Subject: thank you for the great read

Lindsey,

This is the first time I have had to sit down at my computer since we had lunch. Thank you dear, for carving time out of your oh, so busy schedule to visit and share. I greatly enjoyed spending time with you. My soul "settles in" when I am around you, if that makes sense.

I wanted to tell you that I had read the first chapter of your book on the web site, but I sat down with the preprint and reread it. There is just something about reading something that is in my hands that is more personal and better. It really is good, Lindsey. If I can be honest, I had mixed feelings when I heard the title because I had been in the hard-driving business world, where finding a mentor as a woman was difficult at best and often dangerous and costly. My reaction had to do with my negative experiences in the past with mentoring, i.e. simply the word, "mentoring".

Your chapter and set up for the book, however, was nothing like I had expected. As I read it, I found myself drinking it in like the first few drinks of hot chocolate on a cold day that just hit the spot and spread warmth throughout your body. It was inspiring, heartwarming, informative, and more. It took back, for me, what mentoring was and is supposed to be and give. Your description of mentoring, was perfect.

Your chapter was so very well written, easy to read, interesting, and Holy Spirit centered. It truly was a great read. Thank you for sharing it with me. You are a talented and gifted woman. I am glad that you are sharing your talents with the rest of us. I cannot wait to read the rest of the book and share it with others.
Blessings,
Michelle
